    Gas Description

Propane, a three carbon alkane, has a chemical formula of C3H8 and a simple structural formula of CH3CH2CH3. Usually in a gaseous state, but usually transported after being compressed into a liquid state. After processing crude oil or natural gas, propane can be obtained from finished oil. Propane is commonly used as fuel for engines, barbecue food, and household heating systems. In sales, propane is generally referred to as liquefied petroleum gas, which is often mixed with propylene, butane, and butene. In order to detect accidental leaks, commercial liquefied petroleum gas is generally added with foul smelling ethanethiol.

    Main uses of the product

    1. Feed for preparing basic petrochemical products through steam cracking.

    2. Serve as fuel or pressurized gas in some flame throwers.

    3. Raw materials for producing propanol.

    4. The main fuel for hot air balloons.

    5. Used in the semiconductor industry to precipitate diamond sand.

    6. Propane mixed with silicon is used as a propellant for an air gun (referred to as green gas when sold) for survival games.

In some theme parks and movie shoots, liquid propane is used as a cheap and high-energy substance to produce explosions or other visual effects.

Propane mainly exists in oilfield gas, natural gas, and refinery gas.

    9. Standard gas and calibration gas.
